Our Wound Healing & Hyperbaric team provides advanced treatments for wounds which have resisted traditional forms of care. These wounds include:
- Diabetic foot ulcers
- Lower leg ulcers
- Pressure ulcers
- Bone infection (osteolmyelitis)
- Gangrene
- Radiation wounds
- Post-operative infections / incisions
- Burns
- Traumatic injuries
- Compromised skin / muscle grafts of flaps
- Any wound that has not shown signs of improvement for 30 days
- Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy - an adjunctive therapy which increases the amount of oxygen concentration in your blood, allowing the oxygen to pass through the plasma and tissues to the wound site(s), and promotes your overall healing process. If you have a wound that has not healed in four weeks, consult with the Wound Center physician to determine if hyperbaric oxygen therapy will be an appropriate part of your overall treatment plan.
