The following information highlights the St. Cloud Regional Medical Center benefit program.

Optional Benefits are also available to employees so you can design a benefits package that meets your individual needs. For some optional benefits, you and St. Cloud Regional Medical Center share the cost of coverage, such as medical insurance. For other benefits such as supplemental life insurance you pay the full cost at a corporate rate.

Statutory benefits include Social Security, Worker’s Compensation, and Unemployment Insurance. These benefits are mandated by regulatory agencies, based on a percentage of your salary and paid by St. Cloud Regional Medical Center.

Medical options (Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Florida)

Full-time employees (minimum of 64 hours per pay period) are eligible to two PPO medical plans. Plan A and B are exactly the same except for deductible, co-insurance, and out-of-pocket maximum.

Prescription drugs (Caremark)

Caremark provides a separate prescription drug program for all eligible employees with health insurance coverage. This prescription drug card program is tailored around the use of generic drugs. You will still be able to receive brand name drugs, when a generic is available, you must use it or it will cost more.

Dental options (Cigna)

St. Cloud Regional Medical Center offers FT employees who work 64 hours per pay period a complete dental program for Employee Only, Employee and Children, and for family.  This plan offers a $50 deductible per individual up to three per family. Eligible employees must meet the normal waiting period.

Vision program (VSP)

Our vision program provides Full-time and Part-time employees a great way to save money on vision expenses by using in-network vision providers. Vision coverage is available to eligible employees at a low cost and covers a portion of expenses for annual routine eye exams, and glasses or contacts each year.

Life Insurance (UNUM)

(Basic Term Insurance and AD & D) St. Cloud Regional Medical Center pays full cost. Non- exempt Full-time employees (minimum of 64 hours) are provided life insurance in the amount of one times base salary. Exempt Full-time employees are provided life insurance in the amount of two times base salary.

Vacation & holiday pay

St. Cloud Regional Medical Center recognizes the need to be away from your job and, when possible, provides you with compensation for that time through accrued vacation and holiday pay.

Sick leave 

Full-time accumulate one 8.0-hour day per month of sick time Part-time accumulate one 4.0-hour day per month sick time.

Holiday time

Full-time employees are entitled to seven (7) holidays at eight (8) hours each within 60 days (before of after) the event. Part-time employees are entitled to seven (7) holidays at four (4) hours each.

* In addition, full-time employees are entitled to three (3) paid days of bereavement time.
