Welcome to St. Cloud Regional

St. Cloud Regional Medical Center has a very rich history as the only dedicated community hospital for the City of St. Cloud. An idea for this great facility was conceived by Theresa Budinger in 1949, but times were tough as the hospital was being planned. Funds raised were not enough to complete the facility until Mr. Carl Kiekhaefer invested his own personal company and finances in the completion of the building. The hospital officially opened in 1964, and has been serving this great community ever since.
I am honored and privileged to become a part of this great Hospital and pledge to this community to work with the local Advisory Board and community leaders to grow and transform St. Cloud Regional Medical Center to meet the needs of this community for today and for the future.
My background as a Critical Care RN as well as a Flight Nurse and Paramedic for a Helicopter Medical Evacuation program have given me direct insight to the importance of great medical care. As the leader of this organization, I will strive to provide the very best associates that focus on high quality, compassionate Nursing care. I look forward to learning more about this great City and to working with the Associates, Physicians, Nurses, and community leaders to enhance the programs and services offered at St. Cloud Regional Medical Center.
Sincerely,

Robert M. Brooks, FACHE
Chief Executive Officer
